This week on Logan Samas afterhours sets so Jammer pass through with some of the mcs who featured on the recent Lord Of The Mics 3 dvd and subsequent tour, Kozzie, Merky Ace, Desperado, TKO and Lay Z who all go in with some massive bars, once again the set is filmed by Aaron Hanson from the HansonsHouse blog.
It’s been a long time with almost every grime fan awaiting with baited breath the visual to the first single released through the newly formed Lord Of The Mics has landed and it doesnt let us down.
LayZ joins forces with Merky Ace, Kozzie & Tre Mission who drops that much repeated bar on the hook for the track ‘Park Up Pussy’, with Teddy on production duties.

South London mc Kozzie is the lastest artist to jump on Sb.Tvs Warm-Up Sessions and he shows us exactly why he is one of the leading lights in the grime scene as he drops heavy bar after heavy bar and drops a few bars in for Sox just for good measure.
Ever since the Lord Of The Mics 3 clash between Londons Kozzie and Birminghams Sox was announced there has been constant jibing between the two which all culminated in the clash in Jammers famous dungeon, with the 2 mcs going back n forth round after round in the dungeon you’d have thought they would be bored of each other by now but no, scores were not settled during the clash it seems as first Sox with ‘Compulsive Liar’ and now Kozzie with this brand new reply seem to have a lot more to say.
Kozzie is never one to swerve a challenge as we have seen in recent times with dubs for Voltage and Maxsta and to be fair he goes in pretty hard, with the Sox imitator in particular adding a few added ‘Lol’ moments, the bars are on-point as usual, all though we heard them on Logans Show some time back, but Kozzie has craftily managed to fit them together over a massive production.
If we were basing the clash on dubs I would say Kozzie takes the W, but we’ll just have to wait to see what went down in the dungeon..for now check Kozzies reply to Sox below.

We all know the events that happened at Lord Of The Mics and the Kozzie v Sox clash that was SUPPOSED to happen so we wont go into that again but it would seem Kozzie who is never one to let his fans down has now decided to grant Sox the rematch so he richly craved.
To be fair to Kozzie he doesnt talk hype on this quick little video where he explains his reasoning for the rematch, he just keeps it somewhat humble, I get the distinct feeling Kozzie is going to let his bars do the talking this time…listen below.

Perhaps the largest talking point in grime right now are the Lord Of The Mics 3 battles, in particular the Kozzie v Sox clash that was supposed to go down in Jammers much lauded dungeon yet for reasons only known to Sox….didnt happen the way things were originally planned, with Kozzie claiming Sox choked and Sox claiming he simply forgot his bars (yet he had weeks to prepare, makes sense right?).
Both explain their side of events in the 2 interview videos we bring you today yet both conflict each other, who’s telling the truth is up to the grime masses to decide but I firmly know who I believe, I mean when you have weeks to prepare for a clash and then claim to have forgotten your bars it doesnt look good for you really does it?
Also as well as the interviews Sox firmly let Kozzie know exactly how he feels about him as a person and an mc in a new send for Kozzie ‘Compulsive Liar’ and regardless of what happened at the clash it’s a pretty good send to be fair, although slightly pointless when you take into account you had the chance to say it all in the dungeon yet didnt.

Okay so just incase you’ve been living under a rock or sharing a meal with one of Bin Ladens cohorts in a cave somewhere you’d have heard all about the Kozzie v Sox clash that was supposed to happen on Lord Of The Mics 3 yet didnt and the apparent events that occurred in Jammers dungeon (where the clashes take place) during the clash where Sox quit, due to the fact were led to believe he forgot his bars….(im not saying this is what happened, just going by the hearsay).
Obviously the fall out from the situation has been raging for the past week or so now with many now frowning upon Sox and Kozzie letting his feelings be known via twitter, yet remaining somewhat dignified at the same time.
Im not one to point fingers and I wasnt there so I cant really say too much but if you look at things in the light of day there is one fact that cannot be over-looked and that is the fact Sox quit….maybe he had his reasons, maybe he was scared we wont know until the dvd drops but if the rumours that he forgot his bars are true then to be honest things arent looking too good for Sox and it makes his recent bars aimmed in Kozzies direction on radio somewhat void.
Now im not going to sit here and call Sox rubbish because to be fair to him it’s a very good send but if im being honest, it’s a pointless send, it’s akin to me backing out of a fight then calling my opponent out a few weeks later…POINTLESS…listen to the send below though and make your own mind up!
Lord Of The Mics three is here, it’s happening and it’s causing a stir with many grime mcs using the platform to call each other out and drop freestyles which go by the title of ‘Hype Sessions’ to show the others what to expect and to also drop some bars about their opponent or an mc they want to clash.
We all know about the Sox v Kozzie clash with their hype sessions causing quite a commotion and that ties us in to this hype session from Jaykae who after hearing Kozzie reply to Sox and drop some bars about himself decides the time is right to address Kozzie and to also send for Canadas very own Tre Mission in what is becoming a complicated situation.
I dont know a great deal about Jaykae so I didnt really know what to expect before listening but he goes in, although his content is slightly tedious at times during the session he drops some serious bars and it’s a pretty good hype session although if im being honest I dont think he’s good enough to beat either Kozzie or Tre Mission in a clash, the energy was lacking somewhat.
