Doller Da Dustman – Chris n Snoop

As always Doller Da Dustman has been in the studio hard at work this time bringing us this new track Chris n Snoop which features Lady Loonz and is inspired by the two characters from hit show The Wire…obviously Chris n Snoop, track has G.Tank on production and as always it works so well, I dont know a great deal about Lady Loonz but she backs Doller up well and does a great job.

Despite flooding the scene with new tracks Doller always manages to come up with something new and this track is no different, the G.Tank production is on-point and the bars and flows from both mcs suit the beat, listen below.

Kids Of Grime & Y’Oh After Party Footage [Merky Ace, Kozzie, Rival, Diesle, Jammer + More]

Our fellow bloggers over at the Grime Report blog have been busy with the camera again this time filming footage from the KidsOfGrime and Y’Oh expedition after party.

If you didnt know this went down on thursday with KidsOfGrime showing off her photography skills and Y’Oh launching her clothing range, for all intense and purposes it seemed a monster night with the photos and clothing going down a storm and the after party being even bigger.

They managed to get a whole load of grime mcs in the place to celebrate such as Rival, Lil Nasty, Diesle, Lioness, Lady Leeshur and many more all putting on a show with live performances and now courtesy of the Grime Report we have some footage for you here, kick back and enjoy!

No Lay – I Am Legend

No Lay returns with a brand new free mixtape titled ‘I Am Legend’ which is 20 tracks deep including some serious monsters plus snippets from future projects thrown in for good measure.

Hosted by BBcs Dj Limelight the mixtape sees No Lay combine both grime and hip hop and she does it better than most females in the game, we get to hear No Lays versions of monster tracks such as Giggs recent hit Monsta Man, as well as Nicki Minaj’s Romans Revenge and Tinchy Stryders Game Over.

Like all mixtapes there are stand out tracks and some not as good but there isnt one poor track on this release, No Lay has always been one of the best female spitters in the game and this mixtape further cements that.

To summarize the mixtape is a very good offering, I would have liked a bit more grime but that said No Lay does a good job with the hip hop tracks on the release, the snippets leave you wanting more and all in all this is a very solid release…download now!!

Also look out for No Lays Debut EP Out On The 29th May!!!

Our fourth free downloadable mixtape/ep today comes from one of the finest female emcees in the game ‘Shystie’ who brings to us the mixtape ‘You’re Welcome’ which is packed full of musical goodness.

Shystie shows off her mc’ing capabilities to the maximum as she packs the mixtape with 15 tracks of pure hard barring backed up by catchy choruses and solid beats, from the very first track ‘We Be Rollin’ the listener is engrossed and further tracks such as Headbanger, Spaceship and Boys sees no let up in the frenetic pace.
