Forthcoming MOGRecordings/MindOfGrime Releases

We at MindOfGrime view ourselves as much more than just a blog, we are also an on the up record label that offers mcs the chance to release through us at no cost to themselves, simply because we love the scene and we can.

After working with mcs such as MIK, Styler, Villain and Avalanch in the past we are back it again with many more releases lined up for 2012 and below is just a small list of whats to come in the forthcoming months and an insight into who were working with.

Masro – The Unexpected EP: After already releasing two EPs from Masro ‘Outta Da Blue’ and ‘Mind My Crep’ we rate him so highly we have decided to go for the hat-trick and follow up with a third ep from the multi-talented producer/mc..expect more electro grime of the highest order and a few remixes from major producers.

We will also be dropping a massive all-star track from Masro but are unable to give you any more info on this apart from IT’S HUGE and features the cream of the crop when it comes to grime mcs.

Wariko – Evolution: On the back of his Lord Of The Mics 3 clash against Diesel Wariko will be dropping the eagerly awaited ‘Natural Born Poet’ but the release after that ‘Evolution’ is the one we have got our grubby little hands on, we wont go into too much detail as of yet but expect to hear productions from Beatgeeks and Skitz Beats on that one.

Clipson – MindOfAGrimeStar: The man with the best flow in grime will be release the ‘MindOfAGrimeStar’ very very soon and if you know anything about Clipson you’ll know what to expect..massive in every sense of the word.

Nico Lindsay – The Build Up EP: Sadly this is another release we cant go into too much detail about just yet as it is still in the early stages but just know in 2012 it will be landing and it will be epic

MOG Presents ‘Now That’s What I Call Grime’: Originally scheduled for a late 2011 release we have pushed back our 32 track, double disc grime compilation until summer, expect the biggest grime mcs in the game dropping unheard bangers on what will be the biggest grime compilation EVER!

Look out for all these and possible releases alongside Beatgeeks and Sicx of Gfam all dropping in 2012…the futures bright, the futures MOG!!!

Nico Lindsay – S-Star Tv Freestyle

After already featuring on S-StarTvs channel already in the past it would appear that Nico Lindsay more than made a good impression as S-Star once again ask Nico Lindsay to do his thing this time over a G.Tank beat.

One thing you can always guarantee you’re going to get with Nico Lindsay is ‘Lyrics’ and he doesnt let us down as he fully allows the G.Tank to let him express himself.

Massive freestyle from an mc on the up, watch and listen below.

Dimples ft Trim, Nico Lindsay, Footsie, Diesle, Frisco & Flirta D – Bloodclart Remix

The original of the Dimples track ‘Bloodclart’ which featured on his release ‘The Last Laugh 3’ earlier in the year has been given a much talked about remix that features a who’s who of grime artists including Diesle, Frisco, Flirta D, Trim, Nico Lindsay and Footsie plus obviously Dimples.

The track that features on the joint release ‘Churchbells EP’ from Dimples & Flava D is massive in every sense of the word with each mc featuring going in with different styles that work together so perfectly, listen to the radio rip below and look out for this on the soon to be released ‘Churchbells EP’

Nico Lindsay – Haunted Freestyle [Prod By S-X] [Free Download]

Since he dropped the On My Mind release alongside Essex based producer Exo Remedy things have been a little bit quiet from Nico Lindsay but that all ends today as he drops this brand new freestyle ‘Haunted’ on which he goes in over an S-X producky.

Without sounding disrespectful to anyone else in the scene Nico Lindsay shows us exactly why he’s one of the best in the scene as he effortlessly drops lyrics over a somewhat haunted production (very apt title right?) but it’s Nico’s lyrical content that places him above so many, he doesnt just drop bars for the sake of it and none of it is just ‘Noise’ every Nico Lindsay track is well thought out, well delivered and more often than not a banger.
